Subject: My ferret....i think she is sick.need some help

My ferret dolly . i got her from a friend so i think she is about 2 or 3. a couple days ago to me it looks like she has started to loose hair from her tail. and her private part is swollen. i am sure she has been fixed and that she is decented. Do i need to take her to the vet right away if someone please help me decied what i should do i would love the help. and so would dolly. THanks james
