One thing to rule out would be insulinoma, a low blood sugar could make him zone out for a few minutes. I had one like this, found him twice almost like you described, the first time he snapped out of it in a few minutes, the second time it took an hour and the whole time I was thinking he was just scared by something, since I found another ferret he doesn't like near him. I am glad I asked the FHL, because I was told to check him for insulinoma. I did find that when I checked him when he wasn't symptomatic it was normal, but when he was having a "spell" it was very low. So, maybe a trip to the vet for a blood glucose check, fasting for 3 hours, or anytime if he is showing signs. Good luck, Patty

Hi all

. When I got to where the sound was coming from it was Koda all by himself with two other ferrets just watching him he had gone to the bathroom and was laying in it and just making small squeaking noises. I picked him up and looked him over could not find anything wrong with him I gave him a quick bath to clean him up. While giving him the bath he slowly seemed to come around. We kept an eye on him the rest of the day but he seemed fine.
