Dewey is my little guy with enlarged spleen and blood count problems. I
wrote here before on him about 2-3 weeks ago.
We did another blood work up on him and these are the results:
CBC - Hct 14.1% [46-58%], WBC 2100 [5600-10800], platelet 51,000
[297,000-730,000]
Mass in cranial spleen remains a concern. I am concerned about these values
continuing to fall while Dewey is on pred 5 mg BID. Next step is bone marrow
aspirate.
My Vet mentioned a particular needle for doing this and I thought I could
remember what it was called.
However, she is looking to find a company where she can get this particular
needle.
We will also be doing an ultra sound on him.
