If I remember correctly, you said in one of your original posts that she had been tested for ADV and was negative. Some of Ivy's symptoms are similar to ADV, however, I would expect other abnormalities to show up in the bloodwork if ADV was the problem. So, if you haven't run an ADV test, it might be good to do, just to rule it out. But if my memory is correct, and you did and it was negative, I have no idea what else diagnostic you might try. Of course, as I am not a vet, some of the vets might have other suggestions.
However, if anemia is the primary problem, have you tried something like Procrit or Epogen? I have used them on one of my ADV+ kids who had problems with anemia, and it bought him at least an extra year of quality life. I realize that treating the symptoms does not offer the same peace of mind that having a diagnosis does, but it is a thought.
