I don't understand what you mean, when you say that the enzymes should not =
be used because the body will need them afterwards..? Are you suggesting t=
hat the body will stop producing the enzymes that you are supplementing? T=
hat's something I don't know for sure either, (and wish there were studies =
about this), but my initial reasoning pertaining to the subject is that enz=
ymes are used (especially) if either, they are lacking (for some reason rel=
ated to illness, etc), or the body simply cannot produce them. I have read=
in a couple books (written by vets from different places) that they (pancr=
eatic enzymes) can be safely given to cats and dogs, to aid the pancreas (i=
f they have a dysfunction with it). I think they can probably be safely us=
ed with ferrets as well, since they even have enzymes made for ferrets (Fer=
retzyme - ref.found in archive).. I just want to know what I posted about =
though.. and that is something my vet cannot help me with, because you see,=
he doesn't know :| Just thought anyone would happen to know here.. :P =
