My insulinomic ferret had some of Heidi's symptoms after some dental work a
couple of weeks ago. Vet came to the house and gave a shot of prednisone and
then upped her dose (starting the next night since she had just had a shot).
She recovered and is doing well now. She is at least 6, so not a spring
chicken. This is the second ferret I have had who did the head tilt thing
and then responded to prednisone.
