Not a vet or Shelter Mom but am Mom to 10 and have dealt with some illnesses.

My totally non professional opinion....

A glucose of 46 indicates Insulinoma (tumors of the Pancreas). Minus the ear discharge and being feverish, the other symptoms you've described (hind leg weakness, seizures, foaming at the mouth, etc) are symptoms of Insulinoma as well.

The ear discharge, fever, and head tilting may be signs of severe ear infection.

Insulinoma is treated with meds (Predisone, Dexamethsone) and/or surgery (though surgery may not be an option in your case) along with diet (frequent high protein meals). The ear infection with antibiotics.

I would recommend you get the Ferret to a more Ferret knowledgable vet immediately.
