Aggression and sexual aggression can certainly be signs of Adrenal Disease. No other signs need be present. Eight of mine have had Adrenal surgeries. Two showed only sexual aggression, one only mild non-sexual aggression, and one's only symptom was being the recipient of the others sexual aggression.

I would recommend having the Unniversity of Tennesee Adrenal Panel run on this Ferret. This is a blood test that measures hormone levels. If levels are elevated the Ferret has Adrenal Disease. This test leaves no question as to wether surgery is warranted.
