Monday - almost 48 hrs after first symptoms

Around midnight last night, Heidi was able to stagger in a passably straight line (with many rolls and feet going everywhere) to the kitchen to steal 3 cat kibbles after eating 24 cc of A/D duck soup (12 from syringe and 12 from saucer).
She actually knew where she wanted to go and after much circling in the living room, very determinedly made her wobbly way to th kitchen(abou20 feet away).
Sh is still refusing water in any form, but is more eagerly gobbling Duck soup and Nutrical. Urinating and defecating every 3-4 hours.
Head still tilted to the right (more like turned upside down to the right.)...(her worse ear is on the left), but now can turn her head and bend her body to the left as well as the right. Sometimes she can straighten her head.
When confronted with a barrier, she still staggers in circles till she can figure out a way around it, but she thinks fast and figures it out within one or two circles.
Still waking her to feed every 2-3 hours. Mostly she doesn't want food for about 4 hours, then is ravenous.
Was very happy to see Sugarbear and Sugar is very relieved that Heidi is not acting so strange. (Though she does look at me as if to say "Why is Heidi so wobbly, Mom?")
Thank you very much to those who replied to my posts, both on this forum and privately. Our ferret knowlegeable vet is to be in this afternoon, and we are grilling him thoroughly on the next steps.
And I WILL be asking about insulinoma and ear infections.(this shouldn't happen to a dog! Or ferret!)

Many thanks to all
One very relieved and cautiously optomistic ferret mommy's mommy
