Can anyone tell me if they use a blood-sugar home testing kit on their ferret? I know of these devices being used on other pets, like dogs and cats.. but has anyone ever considered using one on their pet ferret? I was thinking of getting one for my Insulinomic ferret and to check her blood glucose level on a regualr basis.. I'm going to discuss this with my vet when he's at the clinic, but just thought I'd see if anyone here has anything to say about it. I just don't know 1) if it's possible & 2) where/how to get blood from the ferret.. how much is needed, etc.
