How old is he, how long have you had him and when was
he fixed? If fixed only a few months ago he could still
be doing his old behavior, I don't know how long they
may continue this once fixed.
The marking can also be a sign of adrenal disease, they revert back
to intact behaviors from the extra circulating sex hormones.
I don't know if he is a candidate for surgery, and if he has
no other signs, you could consider running the Tennessee panel
and if it confirms adrenal disease consider medical treatment
options if surgery is out.
