My ferret just had what appears to be a chodoma removed from his tail - a couple inches of his tail was amputated. Anyone have experience with this? Issues with regrowth? I opted not to do a biopsy. I don't suppose there is any recommendations for keeping him from bothering the incision? I don't imagine an e-collar would work on a ferret even if they came small enough! The vet figured wrapping it would make him bother it more. I am picking him up from the vet in a couple hours so I don't know yet if he will even have an issue with bothering the stubby tail.
