Buster had adrenal surgery on Wednesday and is doing so well he
doesn't even act like anything happened. He had a large
left gland, and the right was very atrophied so he got a shot
of percoten post op. Now, my question, since there is a possibility
of Addison's disease developing either temporarily until the
right gland can come back, or permanent if it doesn't.

Do I get his electrolytes checked? Or just watch for signs? And
since he got percoten, any time frame on checking the blood?
Like after 28days if he is doing well, or in a week just in case?

Patty
