That is one of the things she has publicly mentioned that she wants to change when she does a later edition because work done AFTER her book indicated that it is good for diabetes but bad for insulinoma -- that it seems to lower blood sugar levels. I fanyone has anything new since then, please, tell us.

Liquid pred comes in different concentrations so the volume doesn't say how much is given, though giving the volume and the concentration level (mg/ml) would. In general due to multiple concentration levels it is best to give mgs for meds.

Thank you SO much for putting the 0 before the decimal point; that is incredibly useful for avoiding accidental misreadings! I wish everyone did that.

Ferrets actually can often deal with very high levels. We had an elderly one with insulinoma and lymphoma who got up to 5 mg each day total and she only weighed a bit over a pound.
