Sukie....

Thanks for the info. I reread that paragraph 10 times trying to figure out
if I'd made a mistake. Since the brewer's yeast could lower his glucose level,
I certainly will not try it. Three immediate responses to my post sure had
me convinced. Like I said... my 1st case.

As to the concentration of the pred., I wish I had the info. to give. The
bottle merely says "Pediapred liquid 30ml. Give 0.3cc by mouth every other
day". I can find out in a few days and repost. I'm not sure why my vet didn't
want to up the dosage, although he wants to see the ferret again in 60 days. He
is an awesome vet, specializing in ferrets. Could the reading of 65 be low
because he hadn't eaten in almost 3 hours?

You're welcome for the zero. :)

Thanks again to all 3 of you for the quick responses. Glad I didn't run out
and buy that brewer's yeast. Lessoned learned.
