Hi,
you're right! Saltwater embolism depends on depth and oxygem saturation at =
scuba equipment. Without that equipment it's impossible any problem, becaus=
e you can't dive more than 10 m without it.

Assuming "saltwater embolism" means nitrogen narcosis or the bends, they'=
d
also have to be wearing little SCUBA tanks. You only worry about those
things if you're using compressed air. I've been taking ferrets to the
beach (So Cal) for 10 years now, and so far the only health issue was a
close encounter with a large crab. Lucy "attacks" the waves, and always
ends up soaked and sandy, but after a quick rinse in the outdoor shower s=
he
seems none the worse for it. She loves it, and as a bonus, she never need=
s
a bath.

Unless someone has cogent health reasons for denying them the fun, they'l=
l
be going to the beach for another 10 years.
