Hi everyone
First off I would like to thank everyone that sent me emails with ideas on how best to take care of Koda after our trip to the emergency room. We did take Koda to his regular vet on Wed. am He does think it was/is insulinoma. He told us he wants to watch him over the next month or so. He belives it will be to early for a surgery.(said if it is a tumor he would be to small to see)he sent us home with a 50% glucose soultion to use at the first sign of any abnormal behavior. I have not heard of this type of treatment before and am wondering if it is a common practice. He said we will watch him and if he starts to have the major symptoms more than once every two/three weeks then it will be time for the surgery. I have to say I guess I have a lot of reading to do I don't know a lot about insulinoma. Thanks again to everyone for your help we were very worried tuesday night. Sukie your email was deleted by mistake would you mind sending me the bood information again
Thank you
Jennifer
