I am so sorry that Holly seems to be doing worse. I was hoping that she'd be
improving.

The little boy I treated lasted about four days. He was going to be
euthanized the morning that he died if he hadn't started to show improvement by then,
but he decided to go on his own.

Obviously any decisions need to be made by you and your veterinarian. But I
agree with you - allowing suffering to continue when there is no sign of
improvement, and indeed a worsening, is a very hard thing to justify.

Good luck, either way. Hopefully, Holly will turn around. If not, hopefully
her suffering will end peacefully.
