Agreed. We did a rescue in central florida a few years back.
The ferrets were kept outside with a simple roof over their heads. Central Florida can be quite hot in the summer, with temps in the low to mid 90's every day. These ferrets seemed to do OK with it, but I'm sure it was a matter of acclimation.
