Subject: Update on Pepper.

Greetings,
It now appears that Peppers problems were not heat related at
all. After getting the results of her blood tests back it now appears
that she has the onset of Insulinoma. There was a slight drop in the
glucose level from the first test to the second, and this test has shown
a increased drop, so she has now been started on Prednisone 0.1ml.once a
day. Looks like Sukie was right on target there. We have had two other
Ferrets with Insulinoma and for what ever the reason, we have never seen
symptoms such as these before. We have witnessed the lethargy, the blank
stares,but nothing like this before. Perhaps what's the most unsettling
is the fact that Pepper has been so healthy up until February when she
had her other troubles. I guess all we can hope for now, is that she will
do well with the Pred. Thanks to all. Rick
