I spoke to the vet today. She confirmed that he had polysistic disease in both his kidneys, adrenal tumor, enlarged heart(heart disease)and fat around his heart. Toby never showed any symptoms of these problems, besides drinking his urine for the past 4 years that I adopted him. He only started showing problems with hind end weakness, weezing large belly She stated that may have been his symptoms of drinking his urine(though I had told them that every year I brought him in for his check up and shots). For those that have urine drinking ferrets, you may want to have them checked for kidney disease.
