We have a little deaf girl (approx 1 y/o) that is violent to the point
of injury, to any ferret outside of her group. She is very rough at
play with the group she belongs to (4 same age siblings and 2 that were
older than her when put into this group)but they all seem to handle her
well. Everytime we have tried to introduce ANY new ferrets to this
group, or tried to put her in with another group, she will find someone
to beat up on to the point of injury. She has learned to go for the
face, and has almost taken an eye out on 3 occasions. There is a
Marshalls fence deviding the 2 groups. If a ferret from group B gets
close to the fence, she (group A) will pace the fence with tail wagging
waiting for the other ferret to get close enough to bite. She has
bitten many toes, ears, and tails through the fence. Most of group B
know her smell now and will avoid her like the plague if she is around
the fence.

We have tried letting them fight it out, but she is incessent and never
gives up. Like I stated before, we have almost lost eyes, and I reach a
point where I am afraid she won't stop until death. We have finally
given up trying to integrate her with anyone else outside her group.

To us hoomans, she is the sweetest, gentlest, most playful, beautiful
little deaf girl :)
