Hi,
Just wanted to give you an update on Bandit: he started the pred with the
diazioxide(sp)?? I have not seen any difference in his energy level. All he
wants to do is sleep- he even sleeps on me sometimes- which is not really normal
for him...when I bring in the yard he just lays there flat out...I have had to
put sugar on his gums along with the meds for two weeks..then he gets a
recheck at the vet to see if the new med is helping. I hate giving him the meds he
paws at his mouth and spits them out...he just seems so tired all the meds.
I picked up a herbal tincture by Health Herbs- its name is Adrenals &
Hypoglycemia Formula and I will list the ingredients: LIcorice Root, Juniper Berry,
Wild Yam Root, Ginger Root, Water and Alcohol... I would like to try this to
see if it helps, I just don't want it to have a negative reaction because of the
medications he's on.. is it safe to give him this with the medications,,has
anybody tried this with positive results.
