In your position we typically try a different vaccine such as Purevax. (In fact, we've stopped using Fervac now and have not had a reaction to Purevax so far.)
If the ferret then also reacts to a second type of vaccine we stop vaccinating that individual. Most don't, but it does happen with a few.
