Thanks to those who have privately given leads to chemo protocols, consulting oncologists, etc., and info on procedures to try and how to time those, and who pointed out that a raging UTI has looked like this. When our vet returns that also will be checked into; for now she is going to vets who are filling in.

Her fever still breaks through but we can keep it lower, and can have hours without it if she has Clavamox twice a day and an injection of Baytril once a day.

She is able to move around a little after she gets heated soaks which helps since she could not move well at all before those since the node is so large. She no longer falls over constantly.

There is still no overt sign of what may be infected, but it does act more like an infection than lympho so far, at least.
