Hi All-

I am writing for the first time and I would like anyone's opinion that might have encountered something similar to my Bailey's situation.

Bailey started off losing his balance. It progressively got worse. Today his back and front legs are distended, he cannot walk or stand, and although he can move his head, he has no control over it. He has to be hand fed. He uses the bathroom on himself.

He has had a full blood panel worked up, all coming back normal. Upon looking at full body xrays, we found a calcified tumor or cyst located underneath his first and second vertibrate.

My vet did a biopsy yesterday, but she does not know if she got any usable cells.

Have any of the vets and/or experts here every encountered this situation?? I am afraid that whatever this mass is has invaded his spinal cord and has caused his neurological symptoms.

My vet has also said that this might not be the entire problem. Any suggestions on what else we should be looking for??

Thanks for all your help!!
