It truly is very interesting (and sad); I'd never heard of a case like
this until recently.... The following posts from the archives will help,

I think those are in order... One thing to note is that I don't think
these cases were officially diagnosed as JL (Dr. Ruth's client declined
necropsy), but rather a form of JL was strongly suspected.
