HI Claire-
Veterinary grade and medical grade superglues are somewhat different than
store grade superglue -- I just had the top of my finger ( left index)
reattached in the ER with it after almost taking it off with new scissors
while sewing hammies - no stinging- washing it hurt more. BUt it runs $20
per pop!

I think I would be wary of applying any glues to an incision post op - as
there is a chance of sealing in bacteria etc needs to be done AT the time
of closure by the vet!
