Not until THEY telll you it is. I have a little boy who in his prime was at
3-1/2#. Last summer he lost his winter weight, then had bi-lateral adrenal
surgery a month ago. He is now on pred daily and percorten. He has
progressively lost weight, but NOW I am beginning to get his pred and percorten adjusted,
altho he has had to have sub-q fluids, and believe me, giving sub-q fluids
for the 1st time is not easy on either. He is now beginning to respond to his
meds and beginning again to show an interest in life and his surroundings.
Don't give up, continue to work with your baby and discover what works for her.
It may take a while and a lot of vet consultations, but it's well worth it.
SHE Will let you know when it's time to give up and let her go. Don't let your
doubts and frustrations be your guide, let Minnie be your guide, after you've
done all you possibly can for her, altho it may take awhile to get her
stabilized.

Good luck to you and to Minnie.
