Hey Hey Hey,

know that it's up to the owner to say when (well they do) and I know that
> as long as they eat and move around there fine but they will still waste
> away so when is Quality of life over?

I had a wonderful rescue boy who got SO sick all he could do was eat. He w=
as on high steriod's (I think too high). He got really fat and all he did =
, literaly, was eat and then sleep. I also wondered about the quality of l=
ife issue. I mean what kind of quality was that? BUT he was in no pain a=
nd his little tounge came out so eagerly to lap up that chicken gravy, I co=
uld not give up on him. Months later, adjusting his pred down slowly, Nobl=
e, regained all of his qaulity of life. He played, he explored, he loved, =
he danced and bless his little heart, he even tried to climb trees. I have=
always been very glad that I didnt give up on him. =

My descision to euthanize is made when the disease is incurable and progres=
sive. When they are in pain. When they begin to panic due to breathing ep=
isodes, seizures or pain cycles. Only after all these criteria are met wil=
l I give up on one. I will fight as long as they will let me.

HappyTails,
