My ferret is 1 yr and 9 months. He has always been a really crazy and play=
ful ferret. Well 5 days ago I was letting play in our garage, I left for 2=
0 minutes and when I came back he could not use his back half of his body. =
He would pull his body around while he dragged his back half. It didn't m=
ake any sence because he was just being as crazy and playful as ever the sa=
me morning and showed no signs. So I took him to the emergency room and th=
ey thought he was paralyzed so they took xrays but nothing showed up. They=
gave him a cortizone shot and some pain medicine I have been giving him fo=
r the last four days. Every day he has gotten a little better. He can walk=
now but still colapses and is very weak. He eats and drinks all the time =
and still wants to try and play. He has lost quite a bit of weight in the =
past 2 months but showed no other signs of problems. What could possibly b=
e wrong with him?? I don't have the money to take him to the vet again aft=
er all the emergency room bills. Any ideas? Could it be lymphomia?
