I am sorry to hear about your ferret. My Toby had rear end problems all of=
a sudden and he was 6 years old. My vet told me that it was due to his he=
art. He had heart disease and I didn't even know it until he showed the sy=
mptoms of having a hard time using his back feet and legs. Sometimes he co=
uldn't hardly walk at all and other times he could. Along with a bunch of =
other problems, I ended up putting him down, because they were incurable an=
d he was suffering. Toby had fat built up around his heart along with an e=
nlarged heart. If your ferret had that, I would think it would have shown =
up in the x-rays. I totally understand the money situation, but if you wan=
t to save your ferret, you may want to get a second opinion.

make any sence because he was just being as crazy and playful as ever the =

they thought he was paralyzed so they took xrays but nothing showed up. Th=
ey gave him a cortizone shot and some pain medicine I have been giving him =
for the last four days. Every day he has gotten a little better. He can wa=
lk now but still colapses and is very weak. He eats and drinks all the tim=
e and still wants to try and play. He has lost quite a bit of weight in th=
e past 2 months but showed no other signs of problems. What could possibly=
be wrong with him?? I don't have the money to take him to the vet again a=
fter all the emergency room bills. Any ideas? Could it be lymphomia?
