Hello, I'm not a vet but sometimes the lupron either takes up to 2 weeks for the effect to show, or doesn't seem to work.
My ferret ricky was given Lupron (300mg)a month ago, and he has yet to show major behaviour changes (as in not mounting my other ferrets!)
He's going in for another lupron shot tomorrow so hopefully we will have better success with continued shots. I have never heard of one shot of lupron lasting 7 months! I would get a 2nd opinion on that one.
