Hissing is not an angry sound for a ferret. Rather, it is a playful
sound.

Ferrets play rough and wrestle. They have tough skin and can handle it.
Let them play together normally. You only have to separate them if
someone draws blood or if one ferret becomes so scared they poop/pee on
the spot. Also, if a ferret screams ( a *very* loud high pitched
squeal) I would separate them for a bit. Otherwise, let them enjoy
themselves.
