We had an only ferret for a very long time and the only side affect seemed =
to be when we finally decided to get a second one and he HATED her. We coul=
d never get them to play together from then on. So make sure you really on=
ly want one.
The advantages are huge though, with the right ferret. If you have a ferret=
that adores you, or at least likes to be around you, then it can be really=
great. The bonding is really intense and they get very spoiled, just like =
all ferret princes and princesses want. If you can give lots of attention,=
