I know this topic is covered extensively but I have to ask or my mind won't be at ease. I have a male fert age unknown who is losing hair at his tail, but it is just the undercoat not the long black hairs. Also he is thinning across his shoulders. Since we got him he has slowly been changing his coat from a yellowish color to a whitish color. We switched his food slowly of course but from Kay-tee to our mix of Kitten chow and 8in1 which I think will cause coat changes, would this include hairloss? Also I have notice redden area where he pees. He doesn't strain to urinate that I have noticed. He is active, well as active as my other guys, very alert, social, a little on the heavy side and a sweetie. He is going to the vet in 2 weeks, but I am worried 2 weeks won't be soon enough. I lost my sweet Sadie very fast and have now become a worry wart with everyone.
