Hey Hey Hey,

This one is for the archives or those interested in Rinky
Dink's case. She recently needed a refill on her dex and had to see the lo=
cal vet to get it. The vet insisted on cbc and chem panel to make sure the=
dex was not hurting her as she has been on a low dose of it for 2 years no=
w.

I cant interpert them but the vet said all was good and much better than ex=
pected. RinkyDink's weight is now 1lb11 oz. Outstanding for a little one =
that almost starved to death. The only number that seemed to concern him a=
t all was the wbc count as that was a little low. He said to just make sur=
e I react right away in any respitory infection symptoms.

Here are the results.

Six month old Chiclet is fevering again and without energy (The node
and a lesion in the area where she'd been having injected Baytril
were removed on Tuesday.) but there is no obvious sign of anything
wrong at the incision sites, so it may not have been a simple but bad
abscessed node which is not good news or maybe something is brewing
that hasn't made itself obvious yet.

She is on oral Clavamox and oral Baytril and we called the hospital.

The pathology results aren't back yet. Poor thing has had a fever or
been exhausted or both for the last 3 and 1/2 weeks. She continues
to be weak so that limits what can be done in terms of investigating
her illness and in activity but still takes obvious pleasure in
cuddling, kissing, listening to music, enjoying certain fabrics, etc.
