Sometimes it appears to me that the allergy MIGHT be to a shared component in the matrix used and then a ferret could react to any vaccine with that component. I do NOT know how much overlap there is on that score with Purevax and any other vaccines.
If a ferret has an incredibly extreme reaction (and still being in critical care on oxygen many hours later even after epi, steroids, oxygen, etc. would sure qualify, or reacts very strongly to two vaccines we stop vaccinating that individual.
