Oh, absolutely! And not all kits with a fever are going to have this,
whatever it is. Two weeks ago I saw a boy with a temp over 105 whose owner was
convinced he had some horrible disease - he had the flu. A nasty flu, as I can
attest, having gotten it from him, but still - just the flu. And for two days,
he was pretty much a limp dishrag too. So don't jump into thinking that your
ferret has this thing - and don't panic. We still don't know that it's
anything more than a coincidence.

My patient did die last night, sadly - and we were allowed to perform a
necropsy, so I am waiting for the results on that. His mediastinal lymph nodes
were enlarged to some degree, but not to the level I expect from JL. Still
thinking about that, though.
