Sukie, the diagnosis of Chiclet sounds almost like what was found in Roger, the sick found ferret from a couple weeks ago. He was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and then all the sores on his body were fungal lesions. The wording was similar to Chiclet's. Unfortunately I can't find the report right now. I am moving so I hope it turns up. Then I'll let you know more. Meanwhile, look up "scrofula" in a Google search. I read about it in a medieval novel and needed to find out more. It is a tuberculosis infection of the skin of the neck with draining sores. I wonder if there is a connection.
