Back in November my boy Devlin (age estimated at 4 years) had surgery for A=
drenal, his only symptom was humping. The U of Tenn Adrenal Panel showed sl=
ightly elevated Estrogen and Progesterone and extremely high Testosterone l=
evels. It was the Left, completely removed and Benign. Following surgery De=
vy's humping eased quite a bit but never fully ceased. During April/May the=
humping increased again (saying Devy has been relentless is putting it mil=
dly). Assuming the Right was now affected, he went back to surgery June 17.=
The Right appeared perfectly healthy and no traces of the Left could be fo=
und. My vet did not remove the Right. Blood was sent out for another Panel.=
The results came back the same as before, slightly elevated Estrogen and P=
rogesterone and extremely high Testosterone levels. My vet is not sure why =
this is. He says either there is still tissue from the left that's too smal=
l to find or the Right is going but not visibly bad yet. He does not want t=
o remove the Right unless he's sure it is the cause, which I agree with. Ho=
wever, this now leaves us wondering what to do next. He has suggested tryin=
g Proscar.

To my question....

For the vets on the list and/or those with experience, does this sound like=
the right thing to do? Any other suggestions as to the cause or the soluti=
on??

I want to help my boy, not harm him. I'm at a loss here and not sure what's=
right.
