By 11 p.m. she was working on leaving her bedding to defecate, by 2:15 she was even working on leaving her bedding to urinate (had five changes of bedding before that since she is drinking, having a/d with water, and is on IV). Both times she was mostly successful -- almost made it. As of a few minutes ago we've managed to get about and ounce and a half of a/d in her since about 4:30 or 5 p.m., and we have even let her have a few "sprinkles" (The word her efor Meow Mix which is used as a well loved treat rather than a food.) which she managed just fine.

The alarm on the IV pump is loud (She occluded the line once but not badly) and she is doing so much better than she had been that I will be able to hit the hay in the next half hour rather than staying up to 5 when Steve wakes. She's a lot better than the flat ferret she became with this latest crash.
