Hi
My name is Sandy and I have 2 ferrets Maron and Brando. Brando was diagosed with this horrible disease called megaesophagus. The vet presribed flagyl, amoxicillin and pebto. I did a little research and asked my expert Mary mc carthy and called my vet and we took him off the flagyl and put him on liquid zantac. I am having a real hard time helping him keep his food down I am feeding him magellons soup mix. We stopped the feeding tonite after 3 attempts and I gave him the zantac and hope it does its job so I can try to feed him again in the am. I have never dealt with a ferret that was soooo sick he is weak and moves pretty slow, Im not sure what to do or even if I am doing everything I can. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions we would greatly appreciate it, Marlon and I are very worried :(
Thank you
Sandy, Marlon & Brando
