I believe in doing adrenal surgery if it is at all possible. I have adrenal
surgeries done probably every other month on ferrets that I take in. I take in
ferrets who are unadoptable and that no one else wants. Normally, they are
obviously adrenal. I just had one surgery done last week. I have another who
will have surgery within the next few weeks. I am certainly not looking to save
money. I am looking to provide the best health care that I can.

Someone made the statement and I asked where they got their information.
While they are looking for it, I also said I would ask on this list. Probably they
are referring to the same paper that Dr. Williams referred to.

I believe this list is intended for us all to learn. If I hear of new information, I
like to think that I am free to ask about it on this list.

Also, I am well aware of the cost of Lupron. I currently have two bilaterals on
the 4-month depot. One is 9 y.o. and is still symptomatic. The other never
lost his aggessiveness but has tissue that has metastisized to the liver, which
my vet was unable to remove.
