Just like everyone else, I hope you mean litter and don't just cover the
bottom of your cage with the abovementioned products. We use old
towels, nice soft ones, for bedding, and our ferts love to dig in them
and sometimes sleep buried in them. They use litter for pee and poop
and bedding for sleeping.

Yesterday's News is about the best I've found for litter. Why do you
find it unsanitary? It seems to be quite absorbent and contains nothing
that will hurt our weasels. We have a large business (nine ferrets) so
we actually replace the litter pan with a fresh one twice a day in the
cage and at least once a day in the
roaming areas.

All the best,
Caity and the non-stop nine
(who are abot 2,500 miles from where I am right now :( )
