The ADV virus is a mutated strain of the Aleutian Mink Virus which is a
parvo strain virus. They are species specific contagions. Parvo viirus's
are very resilient and very hard to kill.
Canine distemper if I recollect is also a parvo virus, though it has
nothing to do with ADV!
