This is just another example of one thing working well for one and then not
for another. I think that clumping litter is great if it does not stick to
your little one's behinds...it's so easy to clean up. It seems that many things
with these little guys is trial and error...and I guess litter is no
exception. I would think that one should try it, and if it sticks just once, then
discontinue it immediately!

I used clay litter for about 15 years with no noticable problems. Even
used the clumping type for a while. Then I bought two new ferret kits
and the clay stuck to their butts. I couldn't pick it off because it
made their little butts bleed. it was even hard on them if I soaked it
off with warm water. So, I have tried it and I can report both
results,sticking and nonsticking.
