Hope someone may be able to advise on this. A 5 year old neutered male ferret has been operated on 3 times in the past 9 months for what looks like mammary gland neoplasia (described on page 142 of Quesenberry's Ferrets, Rabbits and Rodents). Up till now all the material removed proved to be benign. Does anyone have any experience of this recurring condition, any tips on treatment / life expectance etc. would be appreciated. I am resident in Germany where not much info is avaialable, and even less vets with the necessary experience! Thanks.
