Introducing new foods can be hard -- harder if none of the old food is around to do a mix.

First of all: is the ferret drinking water and is the ferret haveing bowel movements. Sometimes not eating is form something like a blockage and that requires rapid veterinary response. Most blockages do not show up on x-ray.

Call the manufacturer. The repuutable ones replace food if it is bad and they also provide info. We've had good luck with this one on that regard a few years back when two bags lost their integrity somewhere along the line and were spoiled as a result.

If you just can't get anything else in try tempting with Meow Mix. I know, I know -- it is NOT a good food but the scents are irresitable to mnay ferrets so they make good treats and also are good indicators if the ferret is actually ABLE to eat so for those uses and to help move a sick one back onto kibble when given in treat amounts it can be very useful. It is important to find out rapidly if the ferret is able to eat and if this ferret is passing feces.
