Common diseases carried by ticks abroad, such as babesiosis and
ehrlichiosis, can be fatal in animals. Babesiosis attacks the red blood
cells and ehrlichiosis the white blood cells, both may cause vague
symptoms such as lethargy and anorexia initially however, basesiosis can
rapidly become fatal if not treated quickly.

Are these diseases found in ferrets in America? Chris.
